Viet Nam Symposium on Scientific Computation and Modeling
There is continuing interest within the national scientific community in the use of computational methods to solve topical problems in chemistry, physics, pharmacy, biology, engineering… Several groups working in theoretical and computational science and modeling have recently been established in research institutes and universities in all regions of the country.
With the aim to provide computational scientists, in particular young researchers and faculty staff, with a platform to present their research results, learn new methods, exchange ideas, make network and cooperate,… the Vietnam Symposium on Scientific Computation and Modeling has been setup:
– the first edition VSSCM-1 at Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City in July 2022 (https://computational-quantum.com/vsscm-1/) and
– the second edition VSSCM-2 in July 2024 at VinUniversity, Hanoi (https://computational-quantum.com/vsscm-2/)
After two editions, the biennial VSSCM has effectively emerged as a fruitful and enjoyable meeting in which participants from young students to established scientists, in all regions of the country working in different fields of computations and modelling, can meet and discuss in a stimulating, motivating and friendly environment.
