Viet Nam Symposium on Scientific Computation and Modeling

There has been increasing interest within the national scientific community in the use of computational methods to solve topical problems. Several groups working in theoretical and computational science and modeling have recently been established in research institutes and universities in all regions of the country. There is however a lack of platforms for computational scientists, in particular young researchers and staff, to present research results, learn new methods, exchange ideas, make network and cooperate.

The bi-annual VSSCM aims to offer such a platform in which participants from young students to established scientists in different fields of scientific computations including molecular, materials and life sciences… covering the more conventional fields such as chemistry, physics, biology…. can meet and discuss in a stimulating and friendly environment.
